One thing for sure is id be laying off Jon Rahm....been in covid isolation for the build up......never won a major......i dont get why he is such a heavy favourite

Re: US Open
Well chuffed for Johnny Rahm this morning. The way he took the news of his positive covid result when leading by six was nothing short of remarkable composure and looking at the bigger picture. If ever there was a more deserved winner this time round who knows. Seems like a great guy, very humble talking about not seeing his parents for so long and not being there when they met his son. Got a great future ahead of him and potential to become one of the all time greats. And, he is in our side come the Ryder Cup. Well done young man.

Re: US Open
Very happy for Rahm. Seems a great bloke and always nice to see a European win, if it can’t be an Englishman.

Correction: That’s Oosthuizen out of it now! Probably.

Re: US Open
Massive couple of putts from Rahm but Oosthuizen not out of it just yet. I had Rahm to win and Louis each way so it’s been an enjoyable watch over the last hour or so! Would be great for Rahm after what happened at the Memorial.

Re: US Open
Outrageous last couple of putts from rahm.

Have some pennies on oosthausen, but won't begrudge losing it to rahm, like the bloke a lot.

Re: US Open
The winner will come from someone starting no better than -3. So within 4 shots is in the mix.

In the mix does NOT equal likely winner...

"including Westwood"

LOL

Re: US Open
Richard Bland leading the way. It would be a bigger story than Phil last time.

Plenty in the mix, including Westwood. A big day for the likes of Rory, to see if they can put themselves in contention for Sunday.

Pretty apt that Come on you Irons comes on here and uses the word tedious!

Got a £3 free bet for Immobile scoring again last night, so have put it on Xander for some interest.

mainly off now well be was playing when he got a bit of hay fever, and also the amount of cunts that got paid out anyway and have reinvested (like a free bet)

*long course*

Re: US Open
it's a load by course but fairly flat, so won't rule out every shorter hitter. I do like Rory & Dustin, especially as they're paired together in rounds 1&2

Re: US Open
Comes into golf thread, to discuss golf with like minded posters.

Wonders how long it will be before, needy, attention seeking posters, make comments about golf being crap, boring and for cunts etc, rather than posting on a subject they are interested in.

Sees that it's the usual suspects, making such posts.

Thinks, that they are the real cunts.

Haven't studied the field yet, but will get do a few each ways, starting at 25's plus.

Golf is the most tedious "sport" in the world bar none. Makes tennis look exciting!

When I saw the words US Open and Connors I thought I'd been transported back to 1982!

Re: US Open
Ag... he won two weeks later at a huge price, thank you very much!

Haven't really looked this week so may well just watch for enjoyment as in the absence of tiger, who is pretty much a banker round here, not sure what they're doing with the course.
Must admit I'd quite like to see a final pairing on Sunday of koepka and dechambeau
